Founded in 1990 by Huguette Moreau, Éditions Multiplart has produced more than 50 silkscreen prints and digital prints of Claude A. Simard’s work.

What are silkscreen prints?
Silkscreen prints are also known as serigraphs. They are made by hand using a traditional technique that allows artists to produce multiple impressions of an artwork. The images are pulled onto special paper with a specific texture and weight.

Original silkscreen prints are always produced in limited editions. The artist decides how many copies will be made and each print is numbered as follows: impression number over edition size. For example, 3/100 indicates that the print is the third impression in a regular edition of 100. Each copy is numbered, dated and signed by the artist. While additional impressions are often made for each regular edition, you will always have a confirmation of the actual numbers because each artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Silkscreen prints should be framed and protected by glass.

The colours appearing on your computer screen may be slightly different from the true colours of the prints. We recommend viewing artworks on different computers to get a better sense of the colours.

The book « Inspiration »

This book tells a story. The way children tell stories when they paint and draw.

Long before we can write, we make up images that tell our stories, half truth, half invention.

As children do, we tell about people we love, places where we live and we travel to. Moments of joy and moments of sorrow. We tell about hope and expectations.
Life! So fragile. So short.

This book looks at what we call inspiration, that complex mix of what happens outside of us, that feeds our imagination, revives the fire, sparks new ideas.

Return conditions

Returns: Within 30 days

Silkscreen prints are printed on fine paper that should be handled with care.
Prints can only be returned if they are intact and the paper is undamaged (no marks, creases or stains). Unpacking and repacking prints can be tricky if you’ve never done it before.

We recommend opening your packaged prints at a framing shop. That way, if you decide to return the item, the professionals on site will be able to help you. Framing specialists are used to working with fragile artworks.
